Free School Meals
All Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children are entitled to free schools lunches, linked to the Universal Free School Meals funding.
Please see the menus here.
You might like to talk to your child about the different meal options each day, so they can tell their teacher which they would like each morning.
Under this scheme, families who are eligible for certain benefits attract additional funding, called Pupil Premium Funding to the school. This funding helps us to provide additional teaching support, resources, enrichment activities and enables us to offer children eligible for Pupil Premium a free place at breakfast club and any after school clubs. We would therefore ask, if any parents are eligible for one or more of the following, that they click on the link at the bottom of this page to apply or alternatively contact the school office who will support you through this process.
Eligibility Criteria- one or more of the following-
- Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)
- Income support
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
- Child Tax Credit, but are not entitled to a Working Tax Credit and your annual income (as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs) is less than £16,190
